Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hi all!

A while ago I took Bloglovin' off of my blog as a follow option as I did not think this was used much by my followers. After being on a long hiatus, I realize not that this is a perfect platform for my readers to follow my posts and since I have now  had a couple requests to put Bloglovin' back on my blog ... VOILA! Here it is :)

So if you like what you see and read on this blog, please don't be afraid to hit that FOLLOW button on the right side of my blog or on the about link!

Of course, share your Bloglovin'! I would love to check it out!

Hello my dear readers!

Normally I would post this on Saturday, but yesterday was filled with a wonderful visit at my mother's along with my brother and sister, where we had a lovely brunch and a fun filled day walking around in town and doing some shoppings! Finished off my day with a nice glass of wine and reading Fifty Shades Darker :)

I have some exciting books that I have been stacking up and I can't wait to read them!

Book Review: Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

My Rating:
Book: Fifty Shades of Grey
AuthorE.L. James
Page Numbers: 356 pages
Publication date: May 25th 2011

Synopsis:
When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.
Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Book-2-Movie?!

So as we know there are so many books out there which have been converted to movies. Some really good and others... not so good (lets leave it to that). It's common that those who have first read the book and then watched the movie have a very strong and sometimes biased opinion on the movie's outcome... and yes I am definitely one of them!

Were it the characters that made you boil inside with disagreement? The order in which the movie went forward or how they unmistakably skipped the most important part of the book!!!

Well if your are one of these strong opinionated and hard headed people like me, I think you will enjoy this post and I hope to see your agreements and disagreement to which movies you though we're a complete failure or massive success in comparison to the book.

My top three's are in no particular order.

Book Review: Catalyst (The Passage of Hellsfire #1)

My Rating:
Book: Catalyst (The Passage of Hellsfire #1)

Author: Marc Johnson

Publication date: March 19th, 2011

Synopsis:
For centuries, the kingdom of Alexandria has protected Northern Shala from the monstrous creatures lurking in the Wastelands. Now, a dark force threatens that fragile peace.

Far from home, Alexandria’s princess is abducted. When a young villager named Hellsfire stumbles upon her and her captors, he rushes in to rescue her, alone and unarmed. His fear and fury unleash an uncontrollable magical force that grants him the power to save the princess—and change the world.

Hellsfire has never craved nor dreamed of power. But such magic as he now possesses has not been seen in Northern Shala for a thousand years, since the devastation of the War of the Wizards and the creation of the Wastelands.

Now Hellsfire must leave all he’s ever known, and make a dangerous journey to learn to master this wild, ferocious power—power he knows he is not ready to wield. More difficult still, he needs to master his emotions. If he can’t, the power will consume him, Alexandria will fall, and darkness will eclipse the land, destroying everyone he loves.

In the dead of cold, the spark shall burn...
